Cultural Competence and Sensitivity Initiatives
Hamilton Health Center (Hamilton) seeks an experienced Cultural Competence Consultant to collaborate with staff and the board of directors to develop initiatives that answer the urgent need to address race, power, and privilege in our healthcare environment. The consultant will work over 3-6 months and use a variety of techniques to assess, plan, and implement strategies that advance cultural competence and sensitivity within the organization.
Goals and Scope of Work
The plan will define cultural competence and sensitivity for the organization, establish KPIs, priorities, and a rationale for the work. The consultant will perform a cultural audit to assess Hamilton’s current position on these spectrums, and determine a baseline, supported by pre- and post-activity surveys. They will also design engagement and training deliverables to debias, enhance belonging, and provide opportunities where employees can process, share, and grow in understanding.
Key Tasks
- Develop Cultural Competence and Sensitivity Statement.
- Conduct organization-wide cultural audit to establish a bassline.
- Review programs, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a comprehensive report on audit findings, highlighting gaps, disconnects, and opportunities for growth.
- Develop a comprehensive Cultural Competency and Sensitivity Training Program.
- Conduct pre- and post-training surveys to measure progress.

Website Redesign
OBJECTIVE
Hamilton Health Center seeks a qualified vendor to redesign our website (www.hamiltonhealthcenter.com) and relocate web hosting.
The redesigned site will serve as a comprehensive, user-friendly hub for services, enhance digital visibility, and support audience engagement. Key objectives include:
- Presenting services, programs, and community resources comprehensively.
- Optimizing responsiveness, accessibility, and search engine performance.
- Integrating third-party tools and systems for streamlined functionality.
SCOPE OF WORK
This RFP outlines the anticipated tasks and anticipated requirements to redesign the Hamilton Health Center website. Vendors are responsible for identifying and completing any additional tasks/requirements necessary for project success. The redesign must align with our objectives, functionality, and quality standards.
Task 1: Discovery and Planning
- Analyze brand, audience, and competitors.
- Create a project timeline with deliverables/milestones.
- Define content, features, and site structure collaboratively.
- Audit existing content and review Google Analytics.
Task 2: Design and Development
- Create a modern, responsive design reflecting Hamilton’s values.
- Develop intuitive navigation and user-friendly interfaces.
- Determine and Implement an easy-to-manage CMS (WordPress preferred-open to options).
- Integrate social media, third-party tools, and custom features.
Task 3: Quality and Security Assurance
- Review and refine site content.
- Conduct usability and functionality testing.
- Implement data security measures.
- Plan for migration.
Task 4: Launch Preparation and Maintenance
- Provide style and user guides.
- Train staff for CMS management.
- Outline support plans, including backups and updates.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
The new website must include:
- Responsive, Language Translations, ADA-compliant design with intuitive UX.
- SEO optimization and analytics integration (Google Analytics 4).
- CMS with easy content management for non-experts to update, add program and event pages, forms, etc.
- Integrations with social media, EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and donor/CRM portals.
- Multimedia optimization, events calendar, photo and video, and blog functionality.
- Secure features, including encryption and compliance standards.
